Our Prices

Standard Rate

  • Group Lessons: £75.00 per month /  £275.00 per term

  • 30 Minute Individual Lessons: £99.00 per month / £363.00 per term

  • 45 Minute Individual Lessons: £125.00 per month / £458.00 per term

  • 60 Minute Individual Lessons: £165.00 per month / £605.00 per term

  • Short Courses: Band, Composition and Theory Lessons: £28 per month or £105 per term.

  • Extra Lessons: £15 per lesson (30 minute individual lesson which will take place on a Sunday)

Commitment to Accessibility and Inclusivity

At Stoke Newington Music School CIC, we believe that high-quality music education should be accessible to everyone. Our pricing model reflects our mission to keep lessons affordable while supporting families who may need additional financial support.
Through a community rate and cross-subsidy model, we ensure that as many people as possible can access music education regardless of financial circumstances.

Our Community Rate

We offer a community rate for families who may need financial support.
This is part of our commitment to making music education accessible to everyone in our community.

Families who may qualify include those who:
• Receive Universal Credit
• Receive housing benefits
• Are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)
• Students with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND)
• Receive other forms of financial support

Families can self-declare eligibility when signing up.
In some cases, we may request confirmation of eligibility, which can be securely uploaded through the student portal if required.

How the Pricing Model Works

Stoke Newington Music School operates a cross-subsidy model.
 

This means:

• Standard lesson fees help support community access
• Subsidised places are available for those who need them
• Donations and grants allow us to expand access further
 

This model ensures we can provide lessons to all cross sections of the community whilst keeping lesson prices afforable and quality high.

Discounted Community Rate

  • Group Lessons: £67.00 per month /  £245.00 per term

  • 30 Minute Individual Lessons: £89.00 per month / £326.00 per term
